West London Townhouse

Putney

We redesigned two reception rooms and also sourced individual pieces on an ‘as needed’ basis for this contemporary, Putney townhouse.
We used an iconic Sanderson wallpaper for the ground floor reception room to create atmosphere and to provide a link between the interior and the leafy, exterior landscape. Working with the existing furnishings, we replanned the layout of the room and sourced new, key pieces including a rug and coffee table. These gave the room great focus and anchored the space. A strong, inky blue was chosen for the basement media room in order to create drama and a cocooning feel. We added to the scheme by layering colour and pattern through the furnishings and artwork. Plenty of low level lighting was introduced so that the mood remained soft, warm and welcoming. In addition to this, advice was given on hanging of artwork throughout the property and also on sourcing artwork for the kitchen.
