We renovated and furnished this converted apartment to accommodate a young couple and their growing family.
We brought this overlooked apartment to life and created a home with a cultivated and ‘lived in’ feel in a short space of time. We enjoyed playing with colour and materials to gain depth, interest and to stimulate curiosity. The kitchen / dining room was reconfigured in order to maximise the space available, creating somewhere fit for entertaining as well as day to day family living. Storage throughout the property was given careful consideration and incorporated wherever possible, through built in joinery and also hidden storage within furniture. A lot of furnishings were vintage, one off finds. This served to add to the ‘lived in’ feel, whilst also adding charm and soul to the space. There was also, however, the opportunity to create bespoke, one off pieces to elevate the scheme and to provide original thought, reflecting the client’s personality.
